Provide facility orientations, belay lessons and belay checks. Assists with the enforcement of facility rules, guidelines and procedures. Provide facility control desk support, point of sale rental and general customer service. Supports the maintenance, general care and set-up of climbing facilities. Supports the relationship between the Teton County staff and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and County staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and County information; performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience working in a climbing facility, or combination of relevant climbing experience. Ability to obtain and maintain required Facility belay certifications. Climbing Wall Instruction Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months. High school diploma or GED equivalent. CPR and First Aid Certification. Miscellaneous: Teton County Wyoming, a hub of North American alpine climbing and a gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, has not had an indoor climbing gym for over 10 years. The Teton County Parks and Recreation Center is completing a $30M expansion of the facilities which will include a new 10,000 square foot indoor climbing gym consisting of bouldering, top rope climbing and lead climbing opportunities for locals and visitors. This facility will open to the public May 16, 2024.
