Job Description:

Spend the summer in rural Southeast Alaska as the Natural Resources Intern. You will become part of our natural resources team who sustainably managesSealaska’s lands post-harvest. You will spend most days outdoors, hiking to field sites and gaining on-the-job training in natural resource and land management techniques and methods, and working with teams on restoration projects. All projects are dependent upon available fieldwork and include working alongside our community forest partnerships on Prince of Wales Island, Kake and Hoonah, AK. Additionalwork may include conducting surveys and research on our carbon offset project land. You’llengage with people and communities throughout your internship and work to enhance and sustain the Alaskan wilderness.
