Job Description:

We’re seeking a full-time Lake Technician for a permanent position providing service to our clients at locations throughout Metro Atlanta. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with others outdoors and have an interest in the management of aquatic environments including cleaning up lakes, treatment of invasive weeds and algae, maintaining spillways and fountains, applying fertilizer, and maintaining fish feeders.

Working conditions vary; the candidate must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. The candidate will be required to take the exam to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License within six months of employment. The position is full-time with some overtime available in the busy spring and summer seasons.

The position is open until filled. The preferred start date for the position is March 28th.

Qualifications:

Preferred but not Required Education/Experience:

- Aquatic vegetation control

- Use of kayaks, Jon boats, and outboard motors

- Pickup truck/trailer experience

- Outdoor work experience

Minimum Requirements:

- At least 18 years of age

- Physical agility (capable of carrying heavy loads over uneven terrain, performing physical tasks on a daily basis)

- Swimming ability

- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

- Must pass drug test and background check before beginning employment

 

Salary:
Up to $15.00/hour; negotiable based on experience.
