Job Description:

Muddy Creek Whitetails & Gamebirds is a private high fence hunting and farming operation in Meriden, KS. We are looking for 2 seasonal Hunting Guides/Farm hands to help in the coming 2024 season. Tasks will include but not limited to heavy machinery/tractor operation, filling feeders, fence building/repair, feeding deer and game birds, preparing free range farms for deer season, routine farm and ranch maintenance(mowing, weed eating, cleaning, etc) guiding hunts, client interaction, cleaning & processing game, equipment maintenance.

 

This is a seasonal position starting August 1st-Dec 15th 2024. We are looking for 2 employees who are passionate about hunting, who are willing to learn, and who know how to work hard given the long hours of a hunting season. Any experience in high fence deer hunting, guiding, farm/ranch work is preferred but not required. On the job training is provided and housing will be provided as well. Salary is negotiable DOE with guides keeping 100% of their gratuities from clients.

Qualifications:

*Wildlife Biology degree or similar background

*Hunting Guide experience with emphasis on high fence whitetails

*Communication skills and Customer Service

*Self-starting and motivated individual

*Ability to work well with others

*General Firearm & Hunting safety practices
