Job Description:
  • Develop and deliver curriculum based on current National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries research and management topics to be used by both teachers and NOAA Fisheries staff in the classroom.
  • Set up opportunities for student internships with NOAA at upper high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels and support those interns during their internship.
  • Promote, coordinate, and improve education policies, programs, standards, activities and opportunities in accordance with Fisheries policies and objectives.
  • Coach staff to engage in education and outreach and engage diverse communities and community groups to reach them with NOAA's education and outreach messages and opportunities.
Qualifications:
  1. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
  2. Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.
  3. Selectee may be subject to serving a one-year probationary period.

  6. This position is not in the bargaining unit.
  7. Payment of relocation incentive may be authorized.

Salary:
$69,107 - $133,236 per year
