Job Description:

Seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive community education and outreach program related to water conservation, water resources, and other natural resource/science-based subjects for a wide variety of audiences and age groups. Promote water conservation, water efficiency, and prevention of water waste through programming, events, and workshops. Perform technical and professional work related to water resources and water management as required by the Department. Maintain effective knowledge of the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (MNGWPD) Water Resources Management Plan and associated requirements, policies, and Action Items.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources, Water Resources, Education (science or natural resources), or related field from an accredited college or university; Experience in environmental education, program development, or teaching with a background in natural resources, water resources, or similar preferred.

Salary:
$44,669.00
