Job Description:

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Support the RMS brand and contribute to the RMS marketing strategy through the development and ongoing maintenance of due diligence and marketing materials

• Perform and communicate industry research and competitive analysis related to potential investments and timberland investment market trends

• Working with and maintaining customer relationship management (“CRM”) systems and databases

• Update RMS’ comprehensive due diligence content library

• Contribute to prospective client requests for proposals (“RFPs”) and other ad-hoc requests Intern, Business Development - Page | 2

• Maintain the records of the RMS Business Development fundraising pipeline, creating and maintaining fundraising reports

• Devising research strategies and methods to identify potential investors

Qualifications:

• Completed or currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in business, finance, marketing, forestry, or natural resources

• Learning about the timberland investment asset class and the opportunities to serve as a natural capital solution to environmental and social goals

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize to meet competing deadlines

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to analyze large datasets to deliver an appropriate balance of brevity and substance and convey financial, statistical, and industry information

• Interest in deepening your understanding of fundraising strategies, funnels, and lifecycles across a variety of investor types and regions • Dependable, tactful, and an ability to work well independently and as part of a team, taking an interest and pride in improving skills and taking ownership of tasks from concept to completion • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications • Commitment to an inclusive workplace
