If so, you may be a good fit at American Forest Management! AFM’s Pacific Northwest region has 1 internship opening in Chehalis WA reporting to the District Manager. As an intern at AFM, you will be paired with a forester throughout your summer to gain a wide range of forestry and business experience. Activities will mostly include private land consultation, reforestation surveys, pre-commercial thinning (PCT) layout and compliance, timber sale layout and stream buffer delineation, harvesting inspections, GIS/GPS work, tract inspections, and other duties assigned by AFM foresters. If you like the outdoors, are an analytical thinker, and enjoy work of an independent nature, we’d like to talk with you!
