Society for Conservation Biology

The Georgia Chapter of the International Society for Conservation Biology was created here at Warnell in the sbclogofall of 2007. Our mission is to broaden awareness of local and global biodiversity issues and to facilitate collaboration among diverse disciplines with a shared interest in studying and sustaining natural resources. Our meetings are held on the third Monday of every month and we host a variety of dynamic and informative guest speakers at our meetings. We will also host several social fundraisers each year and are initiating a local endangered species monitoring project. For more info or to become involved in one of our planning committees visit our website.
