NRCS Georgia, do you know of a high school or college student that would like to intern with NRCS next summer with the end goal of possibly coming on board full time with a career at NRCS? This is their opportunity!
The Internship Program is for high school seniors or current college students and offers paid opportunities to ultimately obtain a career working in federal service. Through NRCS, our interns enjoy a summer experience working alongside Georgia’s farmers and producers who are focused on taking care of the land. Students who successfully complete the program may be eligible for conversion to a permanent career in the civil service.
New intern positions we will be filling for summer 2020:
- Soil Conservationist
- Agricultural Engineer
- Civil Engineer
To apply for the internship, simply go to www.usajobs.gov and create an account. When the internship positions are posted on www.usajobs.gov in the first quarter of FY2020 (October 2019-December 2019), they simply log into their account and apply for the internship.
