Pre-Professional Core Curriculum - USG Students

Applies to the forestry major, the natural resource management and sustainablity major, and the fisheries and wildlife major for students transferring from schools within the University System of Georgia.

Students transferring from a USG school must complete Areas A-E at their USG institution, including the following courses required for entry:

Pre-Vet Wildlife Sciences students must take PHYS 1111+L (Physics I, 4 hrs)*

* Vet School-required courses like PHYS 1112+L, CHEM 2211+L, and CHEM 2212+L do not have to be completed by Pre-Vet Wildlife Sciences students to enter the Professional Program; you may take CHEM 2211+L instead of PHYS 1111+L for the purpose of entering the program.

Students transferring from USG schools also have the option of fulfilling the requirements for UGA students and non-USG students.
