Point Reyes Summer Camp is designed to inspire young people (grades 3-12) to explore, discover, and connect with themselves, each other, and the natural world in the unparalleled beauty of Point Reyes National Seashore (Marin County, California). Located inside a national park, Point Reyes Summer Camp combines outdoor adventuring with the best environmental education techniques, marine and coastal field excursions, and traditional summer camp activities to create an unforgettable camp experience.
Summer Camp Naturalist
Naturalists design and lead daytime activities and evening programs, including offsite field trips, backpacking trips, environmental education and natural history activities for children. They serve primarily as educators, trip organizers, and mentors/role models for campers, counselors, and counselors-in-training. This is a full-time seasonal position with required onsite residency in a shared dormitory style cabin and/or your own tent.
Summer Camp Counselor:
Counselors play an important role in the creation of a supportive camp environment by cultivating a close cabin community, ensuring camper health and well-being, serving as positive behavioral role models, assisting with and leading activities, and carrying out assigned duties responsibly. This is a full-time seasonal position with required onsite residency in a shared dormitory style cabin.
