Biography:

Dr. Puneet Dwivedi is an Associate Professor (Sustainability Sciences) at the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry & Natural Resources. He has published about 100 refereed articles analyzing the sustainability of environmental resources, in general, and forest resources, in particular. In 2020, he received University of Georgia Creative Research Medal for his work with minority forest landowners in Georgia. In 2019, he received the Award of Excellence in Research and Development from the Southeastern Society of American Foresters. His research has been supported by over US $5 million grants across federal and state agencies, trusts, non-profits, and endowments. As a major professor, he has supervised a total of 14 graduate students (eight PhDs and 6 M.S.) and four postdoctoral research associates. He is also a Chief Executive Office and Owner of Eco-Intelligence®, a leading environmental consulting firm providing smart and equitable solutions for ensuring the sustainable management of environmental resources worldwide.
