Thu, 05/25/2017 - 10:44am - Twenty-five professionals who represent a broad cross section of corporations, businesses and organizations throughout Georgia have been chosen to participate in the Advancing Georgia’s Leaders in Agriculture and Forestry (AGL) 2017-2019 class. Five Warnell alumni are in this new class of AGL.

Green and the other recipients were honored at a reception recently that celebrated the continued success of the First-Year Odyssey Seminar program.
Mon, 05/15/2017 - 01:54pm - Dr. Richard Chandler was honored this spring by the University of Georgia with the 2017 Fred C. Davison Early Career Scholar Award. Named in honor of the University of Georgia’s 18th president, this award recognizes outstanding accomplishment and evidence of potential future success in scholarship, creative work or research by an early career faculty member in the sciences.
Tue, 05/09/2017 - 03:39pm - Migratory waterfowl around the world travel hundreds to thousands of miles annually, stopping at lakes, ponds and marshes to refuel and breed. Some of these aquatic rest stops may be at sites polluted by remnants of radioactive waste from nuclear production or accidents, exposing the birds to contamination that they take with them. This poses a potential risk to humans if the waterfowl enter the food chain.
