GA Woodland Owners Network

Purpose

Private non-industrial woodland owners have 54 percent of Georgia’s forests. That’s 118,000 owners with 12.5 million acres of trees! They have many reasons for ownership, ranging from enjoyment of beauty or scenery and recreation to timber production and investments and all points between. Receiving useful information to help them maximize their goals and objectives for their woodlands is important in the management of their property.

This site is intended to fill that educational need. We provide timely webinars on a variety to topics along with a schedule of live events. Owners can stay current about new developments in taxes, management strategies, and other topics in our News section. There are a number of other online resources available and we link to those.
