For Admissions
The UGA Graduate School web site contains detailed information on International Applications. In addition to the general requirements listed for all applicants, international students have specific transcript requirements and are required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). and submit a Certificate of Finances form.
For Incoming Students
International students will have several steps to complete their documentation, such as obtaining insurance and a Social Security Card. Upon arrival, you should check in with the UGA Office of International Education.

*The deadline for applicants who wish to be considered for assistantship is January 1 for Graduate School Assistantships and February 1 for Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources Assistantships. These assistantships are awarded for the next academic year, beginning with the Fall Semester.
