Andrew College is seeking an assistant professor for a newly created teaching position. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in Forestry with an emphasis toward timber management practices. This twelve-month position will be responsible for the development and organization of course content and student learning outcomes for several new courses that will launch an Associate of Science Degree in Timber Management. It is anticipated this individual will teach the first courses within this new area of concentration during the Fall 2017 semester. The successful applicant also must be willing to foster outreach partnerships and collaborative relationships with area farmers, agribusinesses, local schools, and mutually supporting organizations.
Office and classroom environment with minimum lifting (25 pounds) required.
