Cooper Tract

The Cooper Tract consists of 72 acres located in the lower coastal plain of Georgia. The property is bisected by Georgia Highway 94 in central Echols County, approximately 17 miles east of Statenville, Georgia and approximately 10 miles west of Fargo, Georgia. The forest is comprised of mixed natural pine and pine hardwood. The property was deeded to the University of Georgia Foundation, for the benefit of the Warnell School of Forest Resources, by Mrs. Edward Newsom Cooper in six separate parcels on various dates beginning on December 23, 1998 and most recently October 6, 2003.
