Dr. John Maerz is an assistant professor in the wildlife ecology and management program within the D. B. Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia . Dr. Maerz teaches herpetology, animal behavior, and his research foci are amphibian behavioral, evolutionary, population and community ecology. His current research focuses on the effects of terrestrial and aquatic amphibians to environmental change, particularly invasions by nonnative species and plant responses to rising CO 2.
