Additional Information about Continuing Education Credits

Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE), Continuing Legal Education credits (CLE), and Pesticide Applicators credits for GA, FL, SC. AL, MS, NC, and TN are awarded for specific courses, depending on course content. For details, review the online brochure for each course.

Continuing Logger Education credits equal the Continuing Forestry Education (CFE) credits but are awarded in the areas of either Environment, Business Management, or Safety, depending on the course content. For details, review the online brochure for each course. Eight hours of Continuing Logger Education credits is required every two years and a minimum of four hours has to be in the Environment category.

The Professional Ethics in Forestry course will be offered the end of the first day of each one of these courses. You receive one hour of CFE credit for completing it. Twelve hours of CFEs, including one hour in Professional Ethics in Forestry, are required every two years for Registered Foresters in Georgia.
