The Graduate School will accept domestic applications, along with required supporting documents, as late as the dates listed below; however, please be aware that the deadlines apply not only to the submission of the application form, but to all supporting materials.

*The deadline for applicants who wish to be considered for assistantship is January 1 for University-Wide Assistantships and February 1 for Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources Assistantships. These assistantships are awarded for the next academic year, beginning with the Fall Semester.

International applications for admission, along with required supporting documents, must be received by the dates listed below; however, please be aware that the deadlines apply not only to the submission of the application form, but to all supporting materials.

*The deadline for applicants who wish to be considered for assistantship is January 1 for University-Wide Assistantships and February 1 for Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources Assistantships. These assistantships are awarded for the next academic year, beginning with the Fall Semester.

The standard application package of the University of Georgia requires that all applicants send the following materials directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions (534 Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602-7402):

  • A completed application form with application fee. (Application can be completed online at http://www.applyweb.com/apply/ugg/)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Official Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
  • For students whose native language is not English, official TOEFL scores.

The Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources requires that the following additional materials be sent directly to the Graduate Coordinator (Graduate Coordinator, Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602-2152).
