All Programs:

*The Major-Related Elective in Area F depends on the major intended by the student. Forestry and Wildlife majors may select any course which carries degree credit (i.e., no P.E. courses) and for which they have the necessary prerequisites. Fisheries & Aquaculture majors are encouraged to take CHEM 2211-2211L (Organic Chemistry I). Water and Soil Resources majors should take PHYS 1111-1111L (Physics I). New Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism majors should choose one from ANTH 1102 (Introduction to Anthropology), GEOG 1101 (Human Geography), or INTL 1100 (Introduction to Global Affairs).

All students who matriculate in Fall 2002 and thereafter must comply with the University of Georgia Cultural Diversity Requirement. The Cultural Diversity Requirement must be satisfied before graduation. The Requirement may be satisfied by taking a course from an approved list.

Many of these courses also count in Pre-Professional Core Areas. The selection of a course that satisfied the Cultural Diversity Requirement and a Core Area will satisfy both. Study Abroad courses will also fulfill the Cultural Diversity Requirement.
