When application is complete

When applicants have submitted all materials required of the Graduate Admissions Office and Warnell, all documents will be sent to the faculty selected as potential major professor(s).  If a faculty major signs on, and the student falls within the minimum requirements, Warnell recommends admission to the Grad School.

If faculty signs on but the applicant does not fall within Warnell minimum requirements, but does fall within the Graduate School's requirements, the faculty member may petition Warnell's Graduate Affairs Committee to recommend admission.

If no faculty member is available to serve as a major professor or if the Graduate Affairs Committee does not recommend admission, the application must be denied admission. When Warnell makes a recommendation to the Graduate School, a letter from Graduate Admissions will be sent with approximately 10 days informing the applicant whether he/she has been accepted.
