Spring 2007 Colloquium features Dr. Eric Dinerstein

Spring 2007 Colloquium will be held Wednesday, February 21st at 3:30 pm in the building-two auditorium at the Warnell School. Featured speaker will be Dr. Eric Dinerstein, Chief Scientist and Vice-President of Conservation for the World Wildlife Fund-US.

The title of his talk is scheduled to be “Mapping the Living Planet: Cartographic Urgency During a Planetary Extinction Crisis." A reception will follow in the Building-four atrium.

Dr. Dinerstein will also present a special program for students at 12:00(noon) on Feb. 22 in room 4-132 on "Tigerland, and Other Unintended Destinations: Field Biology as Adventure and Adventure as Field Biology." For more information on Dr. Dinerstein visit his website.
